Martin D28, 1987
This is a very fine old Martin, with that distinctive Martin deep voice.
This instrument has no cracks, has had no repairs, and is in excellent shape.
In the closeup of the top below, I try to show that the finish in this area has expansion/contraction cracks perpendicular to the grain. You can see them better in certain light which was difficult to photograph.
This type of finish blemish is not unusual, is in the finish only, and does not affect the sound.
The case is original also, and is in excellent condition.
I see these selling for hundresds more in worse condition, I think it is a great price at $1,695.00.
